CRESG 2021

The 2021 International Workshop on Creative Research for Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance

Technically Sponsored by ICRP

Workshop Overview

The 2021 International Workshop on Creative Research for Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (CRESG 2021) will be held in JeJu, in conjunction with PlatCon-19, during 23-25 August 2021. The concept of Creative Research (CR) is to provide many fresh and innovative ideas to see our daily research works from diverse perspectives. In CR, our research works can be pleasures and adventures, and this change of thinking can make us more enthusiastic and more focusing on our research works with great excitement.

From Wikipedia, the concept of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) refers to metrics related to intangible assets within the enterprise, a form of corporate social credit score. Research [1] and [2] show that intangible assets comprise an increasing percentage of future enterprise value. While there are many ways to think of intangible asset metrics, the three conceptual factors together, ESG, comprise a label that has been adopted throughout the United States financial industry and also many developed countries. They are used for a myriad of specific purposes with the ultimate objective of measuring elements related to sustainability and societal impact of a company or business.

We are sure that CR for ESG will give a big and fresh change to the traditional research works in the fields of Business Management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Management Information System (MIS), and Data Protection. The CRESG 2021 will be a good forum to discuss current trends and future directions of CR and CR for ESG. We eventually hope that the CRESG 2021 will be a good starting point for spreading Creative Research about all science, social science, and liberal arts areas as well as IT-related areas.

Actually, the CRESG 2021 is the next event, in a series of highly successful International Workshop on CR, previously held as CRET 2019 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2019), CRET 2018 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2018), CRET 2017 (Busan, Korea, Feb. 2017), CRET 2016 (Jeju, Korea, Feb. 2016), CRET 2015 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2015) and CRCC 2014 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2014),

The first topic of this CR workshop series was "Computing & Communication", and the second topic was "Education & Technology". Now its primary concerns are focused on ESG.
